Hotel Strijewski
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Hotel Strijewski is worth booking if you want a clean, simple 3-star room in Wolfsburg for well under half the price of the city's top hotels. It is a poor fit if you want to walk to Phaeno, the Volkswagen museum or the castle, since all three are more than 50 minutes away on foot.

This is a practical base for travellers who care most about price and cleanliness. Families may find it useful because the property lists family rooms. Drivers can park on site, although there is a daily charge.
Skip it if you want to step out of the door and be among the sights. Also skip it if you want the strongest reviews in town: of the 6 hotels we compared, it had the lowest guest score.
Location and getting around
The address is Rostocker Str. 2. Guests rate the location 8.3 out of 10, decent but lower than the marks for many hotels on our site.
Distances are the main tradeoff. Phaeno Science Center is about 4.1 km away, roughly 51 minutes on foot. AutoMuseum Volkswagen is about 5.1 km, around 64 minutes. Wolfsburg Castle is about 5.3 km, around 66 minutes. These are straight-line estimates, so real routes may be longer. All three are far, and you will need public transport or a taxi to reach them. Check the options from the hotel before you book.
What guests say
The score is 8.3 out of 10 from 866 reviews. Two things come up again and again. Breakfast is a fresh buffet with a large selection. Rooms are described as spotless, tidy and well kept throughout the building.
The common complaint is parking. Guests like the large, convenient spaces on site but dislike paying a daily fee for them. The amount is not confirmed in our data.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults put Hotel Strijewski at €120.60 per night, about €241 for the stay. These are not live quotes. Check today's price for your own dates.
That was 41% below the sample median of €205.31. Our Best Value pick, Courtyard by Marriott Wolfsburg (4 stars, 9.1/10), showed €263 per night. Our Luxury pick, The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg (5 stars, 9.3/10), showed €380. You give up a higher score and, possibly, a better location, but you save about €140 per night against the Courtyard.
Breakfast is listed as a buffet. Whether your rate includes it has not been confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 6 eligible hotels in Wolfsburg. Hotel Strijewski had the lowest reference price once the upscale slot was set aside, so it became our Budget choice. Its 866 reviews give a reliable picture, and the praise for cleanliness and breakfast is consistent.
Its weak points are clear too. It ranked last of the 6 on guest score, and the main sights are a long way off on foot.
Before you book
Plan how you will get to the sights, because walking is not realistic for most of them. Ask what parking costs per day. Confirm whether breakfast is in your rate and check the cancellation terms. The listing is tagged as pet friendly, so ask about rules if you bring a pet. Room size, noise and renovation condition have not been assessed.
