Hikers and couples looking for a calm mountain break are the obvious match. Guests describe a peaceful valley with mountain views and direct access to hiking trails.
Families can look too: family rooms are listed, and the listing is tagged as pet friendly. Check the pet policy and any fee first.
Skip it if you want to step out of the door into town life, or if a warm pool is the main reason for booking. Guests say the pool water is often cold.
Location and getting around
The address is Jaski 14, Szczyrk. Guests praise the peaceful valley setting, mountain views and direct access to hiking trails. The location score is 8.9.
Our data does not include walking distances to specific sights, shops or ski areas. Check the map for the distance to the places you plan to visit, and whether you will need a car.
The provider lists beachfront among the facilities. That is not confirmed by anything else in our data, so do not book on that basis without asking the hotel what it means.
What guests say
Hotel Zimnik scores 9.0 out of 10 from 758 reviews.
Breakfast is a highlight. Guests describe a tasty buffet with a wide range of fresh hot and cold options.
The setting is the other big plus: quiet, in a valley, with views of the mountains and trails nearby.
The pool gets mixed comments. It is clean and has counter-currents, but the water is often cold and loungers are scarce.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was €86.11 per night, about €172 for both nights. That is 38% below the sample median of €139.13. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
For that, the property lists a gym, a spa, a pool, a restaurant, family rooms, free Wi-Fi, a garden and a terrace. Breakfast type is not listed and inclusion is not confirmed.
Our Best Value pick, Hotel Halo Szczyrk, scores 8.8 with 3 stars at €99.61 per night. Our Luxury pick, Aries Hotel & SPA Szczyrk, scores 9.5 with 5 stars at €241.85. Unusually, the Budget pick here has more stars and a higher score than the Best Value pick, and costs less at the reference dates.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 9 eligible hotels in Szczyrk. Zimnik is joint second of those 9 on guest score.
It took the Budget slot because it had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was reserved. Getting a 4-star hotel with a 9.0 score at that price is the main reason it stands out.
