Yes, for most travellers on a budget it is an easy booking: a 9.0 score, a well-liked breakfast and the main churches about 8 minutes away on foot, for well under half the price of our Best Value pick. If you expect full four-star service, read the value comments first.

Itria Palace is a four-star hotel in Ragusa Ibla, the old part of Ragusa. It fits couples and families who want to explore the historic centre on foot and keep the budget low. Family rooms are listed, and the data tags it as pet friendly, though you should confirm the pet policy and any fee directly.
Who might be disappointed? Guests who judge by the star rating. Some reviewers say the amenities and services fall short of what four stars suggests, even if most find the rates reasonable.
Location and getting around
The address is Corso Don Minzoni 6. Guests describe the setting as between the old and upper towns, with scenic views and easy access to the sights. The location score is 9.4 out of 10.
Ragusa Cathedral is about 0.6 km away, roughly 8 minutes on foot. The Duomo of San Giorgio is also about 0.6 km, again around 8 minutes. These are straight-line estimates, and Ragusa is a hilly town, so real walks can take longer.
San Giorgio Cathedral in Modica is 7.2 km away, about 90 minutes on foot. That is far: plan on public transport or a taxi for a day trip there. Parking is not confirmed in our data, so ask the hotel if you are driving.
What guests say
The hotel scores 9.0 out of 10 from 1,748 reviews, joint third of the 6 eligible hotels in our sample.
Breakfast gets the warmest comments. Guests describe an abundant buffet with local specialties and homemade cakes, served in a stone-walled dining hall. The listed styles are continental, Italian and buffet.
Location is the other strong point. The main reservation is value: some guests feel the services do not match the star rating.
