It suits travellers who want the main sights on the doorstep and plan to spend little time in the room. Family rooms are listed.

Location and getting around
The address is 26, Place de l'horloge. Guests describe it as set on a pedestrian square, steps from the Palais des Papes and restaurants.
Our straight-line estimates put the Palais des Papes and Avignon Cathedral about 3 minutes away (0.2 km each), and the Musée du Petit Palais about 4 minutes (0.3 km). These are estimates, not measured routes.
Because the square is pedestrian, arriving by car may take planning. Parking is not listed in our data, so ask the hotel how to reach it and where to park.
What guests say
Location tops the praise: a pedestrian square close to the palace and to places to eat. Staff come next, described as friendly and smiling, with a warm welcome and useful local advice.
The recurring complaint is room size. Some units are roomy and renovated, but others feel tight and leave little room for luggage.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks

Our Budget pick, Hôtel Central, was €62.42 with 8.0, a bit further from the palace. Our Luxury pick, La Mirande, was €680.26 with 8.8. For under €8 more a night than the budget option, the Kyriad gives a higher score and a closer position.

Why it made our top 3
We compared 9 eligible hotels in Avignon, and this one ranked joint 4th on guest score. Our Best Value slot weighs score, number of reviews and price rather than chasing the cheapest option. A high score from more than 2,700 reviews, a central square and a below-median price made the case.
