Leonardo Hotel Weimar is a four-star hotel at Belvederer Allee 25. It suits travellers who like a calm setting and do not mind a walk or short bus ride into town. The property lists a gym, a pool, a restaurant, a garden, a terrace, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and pets are flagged, though the rules need checking.
Skip it if you want to step out straight into the old centre. It also may not suit drivers expecting easy parking, as guests say on-site spaces are often full or expensive.
Location and getting around
Guests rate the location 8.5 out of 10 and describe a quiet setting next to the park, a short walk or bus ride from the centre.
Schloss Weimar is 1.5 km away, about 19 minutes on foot. The Deutsches Nationaltheater und Staatskapelle Weimar and St. Peter und Paul are both 1.6 km, about 20 minutes. That is a comfortable walk for most people, but less so in bad weather or with children. These times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
The score is 8.1 out of 10 from 6,439 reviews. The sample is very large, but Weimar had only 4 eligible properties and this one sits joint 4th on score, so the other three all rate higher.
Guests like the quiet park setting and the large breakfast buffet with a wide variety of fresh items, though the dining area gets crowded. Parking is the main complaint: on-site spaces exist but are often full or expensive, and guests point to free spots in nearby streets.
