LOGIS Hôtel Borel
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
LOGIS Hôtel Borel is worth booking if you want the best-rated hotel in our Dunkerque sample, a central spot near the port and staff that guests rate highly. If you are watching every euro, note that breakfast and the minibar draw complaints on price, and our Best Value pick is cheaper.

Travellers who care about service will feel at home. Guests describe a friendly, professional team that gives useful local advice, and guests say it frequently offers room upgrades, though you should not count on one.
Couples on a short city break and business travellers both fit, given the central location near the port, restaurants and town centre. Families can look at the listed family rooms. A gym and a 24-hour front desk are also listed.
Budget-focused travellers may prefer our other picks. All three are 4-star hotels, and this one is the most expensive.
Location and getting around
The address is 6 Rue L Hermitte. Guests rate the location 9.3 out of 10 and describe it as central, near the port, restaurants and the town centre.
The Nieuwpoort–Dunkirk Canal and Dunkirk Lighthouse are each about 1.2 km away, around 15 minutes on foot. Fort-Mardyck is about 5 km away, roughly 63 minutes on foot, so it is far: plan on a car, a taxi or public transport.
Walking times are straight-line estimates, not tested routes. Free parking is listed by the property, and guests also mention street parking nearby. Confirm what is available for your dates.
What guests say
The guest score is 9.1 out of 10 from 983 reviews. That is a high score on a solid number of stays.
Staff lead the praise: friendly, professional, generous with local tips and, according to guests, often willing to upgrade rooms. Location comes next, with the port, restaurants and centre close by.
The complaint is about extras. Room rates are seen as reasonable, but breakfast and minibar items are considered expensive. Breakfast is listed as continental and buffet. Whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Price and what you get, compared with our other Dunkerque picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults, was €149.25 a night, about €299 in total. This is not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
The property lists a gym, free parking, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk.
Our Budget pick, DUNKE, was €67.66 a night with 4 stars and an 8.5 score. Our Best Value pick, Mercure Dunkerque Centre Gare, was €125.98 a night with 4 stars and an 8.7 score. Borel costs about €23 a night more than the Mercure. What that buys is the highest guest score of the three and the service reputation described above.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 6 eligible hotels in Dunkerque. Our Luxury slot prefers 5-star hotels, and a 4-star fallback must score at least 8.5. Borel clears that bar comfortably with 9.1.
It also shares the top review-score position in the sample, and its 9.3 location score backs up the central address.
Before you book
Check whether breakfast is included, and compare its price with cafés nearby if it is not. Confirm parking for your dates.
Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Do not book expecting an upgrade, since that depends on the day.
