Location and getting around
The address is Adelgatan 4, in the Norr area. Guests describe a central setting on a quiet street, close to the train station, shops and restaurants. The location score is 9.7.
St. Peter's Church is about 0.1 km away, roughly a minute on foot. Malmö Castle is about 0.9 km, around 11 minutes, and Malmö Synagogue about 1.1 km, roughly 14 minutes. All are straight-line estimates, and all are an easy walk.
Arriving by train is simple, since guests mention the station being nearby.
What guests say
Breakfast stands out. It is served in a historic cellar vault, with a large buffet and a waffle station.
Guests also praise the location for being central yet quiet.
The common complaint is the beds. The frames are adjustable, but some guests find the mattresses too soft, too hard or too narrow. Room size and the condition of the rooms have not been assessed.
Price and value against our other Malmö picks
The reference price was about €130.41 a night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. It is not a live quote. That is about 2% below the sample median of €132.88.
Malmö is unusual. Our Best Value pick, Clarion Hotel Malmö Live, scoring 8.6, was about €143.23 a night, more than this Luxury pick on those dates. Our Budget pick, Best Western Hotel Royal, scoring 8.1, was about €101.89.
So on the reference dates, this hotel offered the highest score of the three for less than the Best Value option. Prices move, so that may not hold for your dates. Breakfast inclusion is not confirmed. Check today's price.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible hotels in Malmö. Five-star hotels get priority for our Luxury slot, and a 4-star fallback must score at least 8.5. This hotel cleared that bar with 8.7 and the top review score in the sample.
Over 4,000 reviews back that score, which makes it a reliable signal rather than a lucky streak.
Before you book
If you are particular about beds, read recent reviews or ask the hotel about mattress options. Check whether breakfast is in your rate, since the cellar breakfast is a main draw.
Air conditioning, parking and pet rules are not listed, so ask if they matter. Cancellation terms were not assessed. Check today's price against Clarion Hotel Malmö Live for your dates.
