Location and getting around

What guests say
The two things guests praise most are the location and the people. The setting near the seafront, transport and restaurants comes up often, and staff are described as friendly, with a warm welcome and help with parking.
Breakfast is the weak spot. The Turkish dishes are described as tasty, but the selection is often limited, repetitive or slow to refill.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults were about €81.60 per night, roughly €163 for both nights. That was 43% below the sample median of €143.81. Check today's price for your dates, since these are not live quotes.
Our Best Value pick, The Yalı Konak Hotel İzmir, is also a 3-star. It scored 8.7 at about €108 a night, so you pay around €26 more per night for a slightly higher score.
Our Luxury pick, Izmir Marriott Hotel, is a 5-star with a 9.0 score at about €255 a night, more than three times the price. For a short city stay where you mostly need a bed and a good location, Mira Otel Alsancak keeps costs low.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 12 hotels in Izmir. Our Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice is set aside, and Mira Otel Alsancak took it at €81.60. Its review score ranks joint 8th of 12, mid-table, but the strong location score and warm comments about staff support the choice.
