This is our Best Value pick in York. It suits couples, friends on a weekend away and anyone who wants to walk to the old centre but sleep on a quieter street.
Pets and families appear in the listing tags, with family rooms listed. The pet policy and any fee are not confirmed, so check before you travel with an animal. There is a gym and a terrace.
Skip it if you need a firm bed for your back. Mattresses split opinion here. Air conditioning is not listed either, so do not assume it.
