New Heaven Hôtel is our Budget pick for Yaoundé. It suits travellers flying in who want a free airport shuttle, families looking for family rooms, and anyone who likes having a gym, a spa and a restaurant on site without paying more.
Skip it if guest score is your deciding factor: at 8.0 it was third of the 3 eligible hotels. And if you can stretch by about €10 a night, our Best Value pick is a 4-star hotel with a similar score.
Location and getting around
The address is listed as PolyTech Melen. The location score is 8.3 out of 10.
Three sights in our data are within half an hour on foot, based on straight-line estimates. Mvog-Betsi Zoo is about 1.5 km away (roughly 19 minutes), the Blackitude Museum about 2 km (around 25 minutes) and Our Lady of Victories Cathedral, Yaoundé about 2.3 km (around 29 minutes). Real routes will be longer, so a taxi may be easier in heat or rain. Free parking is listed if you drive.
What guests say
Guests score it 8.0 out of 10 from 51 reviews. That is a good score in absolute terms, but it was third of the 3 eligible properties in the sample, and 51 reviews is a modest base.
Our data does not include specific praise or complaints. Read recent reviews to check room condition, noise, Wi-Fi reliability and how the airport shuttle works in practice.
Price and what you get
We saw €83.84 per night, about €168 for 2 nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November, 2 adults, one room), not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
That is 10% below the sample median of €93.38. Our Best Value pick, Albatros Premium Hôtel, was €93.38 with an 8.1 score, so the saving here is about €9.54 a night. Our Luxury pick, MASSOU Residence, was €129.58 with an 8.3 score.
In return you get a long facilities list: a gym, a spa, a restaurant, free parking, a free airport shuttle, family rooms, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. A buffet breakfast is listed, but whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 3 eligible hotels in Yaoundé. This one had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside, with an 8.0 guest score and a long list of facilities. That combination earned it the Budget slot.
