Yes, it is worth booking if you want a central 4-star base in Cáceres at a price close to the city median, backed by a large number of reviews. Drivers should think twice, because parking is off-site and reaching the entrance by car is described as difficult.

This is a sensible choice for couples and small families who want to explore the old town of Cáceres on foot. The property lists family rooms, a gym, a restaurant and air conditioning, and it accepts pets according to the data, so travellers with a dog may want to look closer. Confirm any pet fee before you book.
Skip it if you plan to arrive by car and need easy parking at the door. Guests say the parking is in an off-site facility that requires a short walk, and that getting to the entrance by car is tricky. If that matters, factor it in or compare with the other two picks.
Location and getting around
The address is Plaza de San Juan, 11, in the area the provider rates as the top-rated part of Cáceres. The location score is 9.7, which is the strongest figure on this page. Guests describe it as being in the historic centre, near the main square and plenty of restaurants.
Cáceres Co-cathedral is about 0.3 km away, roughly a 4-minute walk. The Cave of Maltravieso is 1.8 km away, around 23 minutes on foot. These walking times are straight-line estimates, so real routes through the old streets may take a little longer.
What guests say
The score is 8.9 out of 10 from 4,311 reviews. That is a large sample, which makes the number reliable. It put the hotel in joint third place for review score among 8 eligible properties.
Two things come up again and again in the positive feedback: the location near the main square, and a friendly, professional team that gives helpful service and a warm welcome. The recurring complaint is parking. Guests mention the off-site car park and the awkward approach to the entrance by car.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November) for 2 adults put this hotel at €102.50 per night. That is about 2% below the sample median of €105.00. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your own dates.
Our Budget pick, Dorma Agora Cáceres (4 stars, 8.2), came in at €78.30 per night. Our Luxury pick, Palacio De Godoy Caceres, Curio Collection By Hilton (5 stars, 9.3), was €131.75. So this hotel sits in the middle: around €24 a night more than the budget option for a noticeably higher score, and about €29 less than the 5-star choice.
Breakfast options listed are continental, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, American and buffet. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed, so read the rate details carefully.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 hotels in Cáceres. This one won the Best Value slot because it balances a high guest score, a very large number of reviews and a price near the median. It is not the cheapest option in town, and it does not claim to be.
Before you book
Check whether breakfast is included in your rate, what the cancellation terms are, and whether there is a fee for pets. If you are driving, ask the hotel exactly where the car park is and how to reach the entrance. Room size and noise levels have not been assessed, so read recent reviews if you are sensitive to either.
