NH Collection Palacio de Aranjuez

Yes, book it if you want the top-rated 4-star in Aranjuez, opposite the Royal Palace, for less than you might expect from a Luxury pick. Skip it if you expect 5-star extras, or if breakfast, parking and pet fees would push your budget.

Day-trippers turning Aranjuez into an overnight stay, couples and anyone who wants to step out straight into the palace gardens are the best fit. Guests also rate the breakfast highly.
Pets are listed among the features, but guests describe the pet fee as expensive. The same goes for breakfast and parking. If you add all three, the nightly cost climbs.
There is no 5-star hotel among our picks here. This is a 4-star Luxury choice, so set expectations accordingly.
Location and getting around
The address is San Antonio, 22. Guests give the location 9.6 out of 10 and say the hotel stands directly opposite the Royal Palace, close to the gardens, restaurants and the town centre.
Casa del Labrador is about 2 km away, roughly a 25 minute walk by straight-line estimate. That has not been verified, and the real route may be longer. No other distances are listed in our data, so check a map for anything else on your list.
What guests say
The score is 8.9 out of 10 from 2,872 reviews, a large sample, and joint first place on score among the 3 eligible properties.
Location is the headline. After that comes breakfast: an extensive buffet with fresh juice, coffee and a wide range of food. Listed breakfast styles are Continental, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, American and buffet.
Complaints focus on extras. Guests rate the standard of the rooms highly but find breakfast, parking and pet charges expensive.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
The reference price was €127.50 per night. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov) for 2 adults in one room, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
That matched the sample median exactly. Our Budget pick, Hotel Equo Aranjuez, scored 8.2 with 3 stars at €94 per night. Our Best Value pick, Occidental Aranjuez, scored 8.7 with 4 stars at €135.90 per night.
The odd result is that the Luxury pick came in about €8 a night cheaper than the Best Value pick on these dates, with a slightly higher score. Prices move, so compare both for your dates. Listed facilities include free Wi-Fi, a fitness centre, a terrace and air conditioning.
Why it made our top 3
Only 3 eligible properties were compared in Aranjuez, so the field was small. Our Luxury slot prefers 5-star hotels and accepts a 4-star only if it scores at least 8.5. This one scores 8.9 with official 4 stars and a large review base, which earned it the place.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check them for your rate.
Ask the price of breakfast, parking and the pet fee in advance, since guests flag all three. Check gym opening times for your dates.
