This is our Budget pick for Cebu City. It suits backpackers, short stopovers and anyone who mostly needs a bed and a central address. Guests praise a friendly, helpful team who give a warm welcome and quick service.
It is a 2-star hotel. Listed facilities are free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk, with free parking and family rooms in the wider listing.
Skip it if you want amenities such as a pool or gym; none are confirmed. People who care about breakfast should also note the main complaint below.
Location and getting around
The address is Juana Osmena St., Brgy Kamputhaw. The location score is 8.7 out of 10, higher than the overall score.
Guests describe a central spot near malls, restaurants, shops and the port. Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral is about 2 km away (around 25 minutes on foot) and the Basilica del Santo Niño about 2.2 km (around 28 minutes). Fort San Pedro is about 2.5 km, around 31 minutes, so it is far; take public transport or a taxi.
These walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. Check the route on a map before setting off, and allow extra time if you are carrying luggage.
What guests say
The score is 8.0 out of 10 from 1,226 reviews. That placed it 14th of the 14 eligible hotels we compared on review score, so every other hotel in the sample scored at least as well.
The location and the staff get the most praise. Breakfast is the weak point: guests describe a simple buffet of local dishes and some find the options limited and repetitive.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November, 2 adults, one room) were about €24.76 a night. The median of the hotels we compared was €59.72, so this was about 59% below.
Our Best Value pick, Holiday Inn Cebu City by IHG, was about €69.57 a night with a score of 8.9 and 4 stars. Our Luxury pick, Fili Hotel at Nustar Cebu, was about €136.51 a night with a score of 9.1 and 5 stars.
The Best Value pick costs nearly three times as much per night but scores almost a full point higher. If your budget allows around €45 more a night, it is worth comparing. These were not live quotes; check today's price for your dates.

We compared 14 eligible hotels in Cebu City. This one had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside.
It is here for the price and a solid base of over 1,200 reviews, not for its rank on score.
