Ocean Casino Resort is worth booking if you want a clean, modern room on the Boardwalk with big ocean views and the top guest score in our Atlantic City sample. Be aware that our Luxury pick was slightly cheaper on the reference dates, and some guests report slow or rude service.

Who it suits and who should skip it

This is our Best Value pick for Atlantic City. It suits travellers who care about room condition and a view: guests describe modern, spotless interiors and floor-to-ceiling windows looking over the ocean, bay and beach. The property lists a beachfront position, pool, spa, gym, restaurant and family rooms.

Skip it if friendly service is your top priority. Guests often find the team helpful, but some report rude interactions or slow service. If you want the lowest price, our Budget pick cost far less.

Location and getting around

The address is 500 Boardwalk. Guests rate the location 9.3 out of 10, and the property lists itself as beachfront.

Steel Pier is about 0.7 km away, roughly 9 minutes on foot. The World War I Memorial is about 3.7 km, around 46 minutes on foot. That is far, so plan on public transport or a taxi. All walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.

What guests say

With 6,382 reviews, this is a large sample, and the average is 9.0 out of 10. Cleanliness stands out: rooms are called modern, spotless and well maintained. Views come up often, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows over the ocean, bay and beach.

Service is mixed. Many guests call the team friendly and helpful, while others describe rude interactions or slow service. Our data does not cover room size, noise or casino-floor issues, so check recent reviews if those matter.

Price and what you get compared with our other picks

The reference price was €144.71 per night, about €289.42 for two nights. It is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults in one room, not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.

Our Budget pick, Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City, was €86.06 with 8.0. Our Luxury pick, MGM Tower at Borgata, was €130.69 with 8.9 and 5 stars. That makes this hotel the most expensive of the three on those dates. If Borgata is still cheaper when you search, compare both carefully; this hotel wins on guest score, review volume and the Boardwalk beachfront spot.

Why it made our top 3

We compared 6 eligible hotels in Atlantic City. This one shared first place on guest score. The Best Value slot balances guest score, number of reviews and reference price, so it is not necessarily the cheapest hotel. With 9.0 from more than 6,000 reviews, it led on the first two measures. Its price was above the sample median of €116.25.

Before you book

Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Our data lists no breakfast details, so assume it is not included unless your rate says so, and check the dining options.

If the view matters, check which room types face the ocean, as not every room is confirmed to have one. Pool, spa and gym opening times and any fees, including any resort or parking charges, should be confirmed for your dates.
