Couples on a special trip and travellers who value service will find a lot to like. Guests praise the staff for attentive service and useful local advice. The property lists a spa, a gym, a restaurant, a terrace, family rooms and air conditioning.
Price-sensitive travellers should look elsewhere. At €591.43 a night it was more than four times the sample median. Anyone fussy about mattresses should also read recent reviews, as some find them too soft, bouncy or worn.
Location and getting around
The address is 14 Calle Gran Vía de Colón, in the city centre, and the location score is 9.8. Granada Cathedral is about 0.2 km away, roughly 3 minutes on foot.
Our data puts the Alhambra at about 0.7 km, around 9 minutes, and the Generalife at 1.1 km, around 14 minutes. These are straight-line estimates. The Alhambra sits on a hill, so the real walk is likely longer and uphill. Guests mention bus stops for the Alhambra nearby, which is a useful option.
Parking is not listed in the data. If you are driving into the centre, ask the hotel about parking and its cost.
What guests say
The score is 9.6 out of 10 from 831 reviews, which shares second place among 16 hotels in our sample. The review base is smaller than some, but still solid.
Staff are the main highlight: friendly, professional and generous with local tips. The central position near the cathedral and old town is the other big plus. On the downside, guests like the linens and pillows, but some mattresses are described as too soft, bouncy or worn.
Price and what you get, compared with our other two picks

You get 5 official stars, a central address, a spa and wellness centre, a gym, a restaurant and a terrace. American and buffet breakfast options are listed, but inclusion is not confirmed.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Posada del Toro, was €63.70 with a score of 9.1. Our Best Value pick, Boutique Hotel Luna Granada Centro, was €79 with a score of 9.2. The gap is huge: you pay over €500 more per night for half a point of guest score, the 5-star facilities and the service.
