Palazzo Filisio - Regia Restaurant
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Yes, this is the one we would point most visitors to in Trani: the top guest score of our three picks, a seafront spot by the cathedral, and a price at the city median on our dates. The main risk is the restaurant, which guests say can close or get noisy for private weddings.

This is our Luxury pick in Trani, a 4-star hotel. It suits couples and anyone who wants to wake up next to the cathedral and walk the old town. Guests describe the staff as professional, kind and helpful.
The listing is tagged as pet-friendly, which may matter if you travel with a dog, but the rules are not confirmed.
Skip it if you want a spa or if dinner in the hotel is the main draw. No spa is listed, and the restaurant is sometimes closed or noisy because of private weddings.
Location and getting around
The address is Piazza R.M.Mons.Adazzi,2. Guests rate the location 9.9 out of 10 and describe it as central, on the seafront and directly next to the historic cathedral.
Straight-line walking estimates: Trani Cathedral is 0.1 km, about 1 minute. Scolanova Synagogue is 0.3 km, about 4 minutes.
Bisceglie Cathedral is 8.4 km away, about 105 minutes on foot. That is far, so use public transport or a taxi.
Parking is not in the facilities list we have. Drivers should ask the hotel before arrival.
What guests say
The score is 9.1 out of 10 from 670 reviews. That is first of the 3 eligible hotels in the sample and the largest review count of our Trani picks.
Location and staff lead the praise. The restaurant serves dishes guests call good quality, but it is sometimes closed, or noisy, when private weddings are held. If you plan to eat in, or you are sensitive to noise, ask whether an event is booked during your stay.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
For a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov, 2 adults), the reference price was €143 per night, about €286 in total. That matched the sample median. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Maré Resort, is 4 stars, scores 8.8 and was €138 per night. Our Best Value pick, Ognissanti Restaurant Spa Hotel Rooftop, is 4 stars, scores 8.9 and was €182 per night.
So on those dates the Luxury pick cost only €5 a night more than the Budget one, and €39 less than the Best Value pick, while scoring highest of the three. Unless you need a spa, it was the strongest deal in town.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 3 eligible hotels in Trani. Our Luxury slot goes to a 5-star hotel first. When none qualifies, a 4-star hotel can take it only with a score of at least 8.5. Palazzo Filisio is officially 4 stars and scores 9.1, so it qualified with room to spare.
