Worth booking if you want a tidy, well-located base in Williamsburg at the lowest price among our Brooklyn picks. Skip it if you need space, because the rooms are compact and some guests feel they are overpriced for the size.

Pod Brooklyn makes sense for travellers who spend their days out and mainly need a clean place to sleep. Solo travellers and couples who travel light are the natural fit. The property lists pets as allowed, which matters if you bring a dog, though fees and size limits should be checked.
If you want a roomy suite or plan to work from the room for long hours, look at our other two picks. Space is the clear tradeoff here.
Location and getting around
The address is 247 Metropolitan Avenue, in Williamsburg. Guests point to the subway, restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby. The location score in our data is 9.5 out of 10, the strongest number on this page.
The Williamsburg Bridge is about 1.1 km away, around 14 minutes on foot. The International Center of Photography is 2.5 km, roughly 31 minutes, and the Manhattan Bridge is 2.8 km, about 35 minutes. Both of those are far on foot, so plan on public transport or a taxi. All walking times are straight-line estimates and real routes will be longer.
What guests say
Reviews praise the neighbourhood and the cleanliness. Sleeping areas and shared spaces are described as tidy and well maintained.
Opinion splits on value. Some guests are happy with the lower rate. Others find the compact rooms overpriced. Noise and the condition of the rooms have not been assessed, so recent reviews are worth a look.
