Premier Inn Koblenz City

By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.

Premier Inn Koblenz City is worth booking if you want the cheapest of our three Koblenz picks and a base in the Altstadt. Skip it if you want a spa, a pool or a hotel with lots of guest praise on record, because our data holds none.

We may earn a commission if you book. It never changes our pick.

Who it suits and who should skip it

This is our Budget pick for Koblenz. It is a 3-star hotel in the Altstadt, the old town. It suits travellers who want a central, simple room at a fair price, and families, since family rooms are listed. Air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk are listed as well, which helps with late arrivals.

Look elsewhere if you want facilities beyond the basics. No spa, pool, gym or restaurant appears in the listing. Pets are not flagged either, so do not assume they are allowed.

Location and getting around

The address is Clemensstrasse 32, in the Altstadt. Ehrenbreitstein Fortress is 1.5 km away, about 19 minutes on foot. That is the only sight in our data within easy walking distance. Lahneck Castle is 6 km away (about 75 minutes) and Stolzenfels Castle 6.3 km (about 79 minutes). Those two are far, so you will need public transport or a taxi.

Walking times are straight-line estimates, so real routes may be longer. Guests rate the location 9.4 out of 10, the highest of our three Koblenz picks. Parking is not listed in our data, so check options and costs before you drive.

What guests say

The score is 8.1 out of 10 from 746 reviews. That is a solid result built on a fair number of reviews. Our data does not include specific themes that guests praise or criticise here, so we cannot tell you what stands out.

For that reason, read recent reviews yourself before you book. Look for comments on room size, noise from the street and breakfast. None of those points has been assessed by us.

Price and what you get, compared with our other Koblenz picks

The reference price was €88 per night, about €176 for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. That is 20% below the sample median of €109.50. It is a reference price seen for those dates, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.

For that price you get a 3-star room with free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Breakfast is listed as continental, American and buffet. Whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.

Four Points Flex by Sheraton Koblenz, our Best Value pick, has the same 8.1 score and 3 stars at €109.50 per night. FÄHRHAUS Koblenz, the Luxury pick, scores 9.0 but costs €336.95. With the same score as the Best Value option and a better location rating, this is the one to pick if price matters most.

Why it made our top 3

We compared 3 eligible hotels in Koblenz, a small sample. The Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice is set aside. At €88 a night this hotel won it, with a guest score of 8.1 that sits joint second among the 3.

Before you book

Check whether breakfast is included or charged extra. If you drive, confirm parking, since none is listed. Ask about the pet policy if you travel with an animal.

Read a handful of recent reviews to fill the gaps in our data. Check the cancellation terms too, as we have not assessed them.
