Yes, book it if you want a top-rated, low-cost base in central Olhão near the station and the ferry port. Skip it if you plan to drive and dislike paying daily parking, or if your trip centres on Faro's sights, which are far.

Pure Formosa suits couples and solo travellers who want a well-reviewed 3-star without paying much. It scored 9.1 out of 10 from 3,185 reviews, joint top among the hotels we compared in Olhão, and it was also the Budget choice. That pairing is rare.
Drivers should factor in the parking fee. Travellers whose main plan is sightseeing in Faro may prefer to stay there instead.
Location and getting around
The address is Avenida da República, 34. Guests describe a central setting near the train station, the ferry port and waterfront restaurants. The location score is 9.5 out of 10.
The sights in our data are all far from here on foot. Capela dos Ossos in Faro is about 8.5 km, around 106 minutes walking. Faro Cathedral is 8.6 km, about 108 minutes, and the Roman ruins of Milreu are 9.4 km, roughly 118 minutes. For any of these you will need public transport, a car or a taxi. These times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
The staff stand out. Guests describe a friendly, helpful and attentive team and a warm welcome. The central location near the station, ferries and waterfront is the other main positive.
The recurring complaint concerns parking. Guests find room rates reasonable but say the daily parking fee is high. Room size, noise and cancellation terms have not been assessed.
