Rosetta Hotel Perugia is worth booking if you want a 5-star base a few minutes on foot from the main squares of the old town and are happy to pay a premium for it. Drivers should think twice, because parking is off-site and some distance away.

Rosetta Hotel Perugia Tapestry Collection By Hilton is our Luxury pick in Perugia. It is an officially rated 5-star hotel with a guest score of 9.0 out of 10 from 255 reviews. Couples and city-break travellers who want to walk everywhere will get the most from it. Family rooms, a gym, a restaurant, a garden and a terrace are listed.
If you are arriving by car, the picture changes. Guests say there is a loading zone for luggage, but permanent parking is off-site and distant. That adds hassle each time you need the car.
Location and getting around
The address is Piazza Italia 19, in the old town. Guests rate the location 9.8 out of 10 and describe a central setting in the historic pedestrian zone.
Straight-line estimates put Palazzo dei Priori and Fontana Maggiore each about 0.3 km away, around 4 minutes on foot, and Perugia Cathedral about 0.4 km, around 5 minutes. Real routes may be slightly longer, but these are short walks by any measure.
Being inside a pedestrian zone is a plus once you are there and a minus when you arrive with bags. Ask the hotel how best to reach the loading zone.
What guests say
Location tops the list, with the walking distance to the main attractions mentioned again and again.
Staff come next. Guests describe a friendly, attentive and professional team at reception and at breakfast.
Parking is the one clear complaint. Breakfast styles listed are continental, Italian, vegetarian, gluten-free and buffet. Whether breakfast is in your rate is not confirmed.
Price compared with our other two picks
Our reference price was €199.95 per night, about €400 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
That is above the sample median of €141.00. Hotel Iris, our Budget pick, came in at €89 with a score of 8.4 and 2 stars. Hotel Priori Secret Garden, our Best Value pick, was €177.36 with a 9.0 and 4 stars.
The Best Value pick matched this hotel's guest score for about €23 less per night. What you pay extra for here is the 5-star rating and the facility list. If neither matters much, the Best Value pick is a fair alternative.
