This is our Luxury pick for Monterrey: an officially rated five-star hotel with a guest score of 9.3 from 1,888 reviews. It suits business travellers, couples who want full hotel facilities, and families, since family rooms are listed. The property lists a gym, a pool, a restaurant, a garden, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and free parking.
Skip it if you plan to explore on foot. The landmarks in our data are all more than half an hour away on foot. It is also roughly double the price of our other two picks, so if the room is just a place to sleep, the extra spend may not make sense for you.
Location and getting around
The hotel sits in San Pedro Garza Garcia, at lazaro Cardenas 2400. Guests rate the location 9.7 out of 10, which is high, although our data does not say what they like about it.
Distances are straight-line estimates. Monterrey Cathedral is about 2.9 km away, roughly 36 minutes on foot. The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Monterrey is about 3.1 km, around 39 minutes. Puente de la Unidad is about 5.1 km, roughly 64 minutes. All three are far for walking, so you will need public transport or a taxi.
Free parking is listed, which helps if you arrive by car. Confirm whether it needs to be reserved and whether it covers your dates.
What guests say
The headline number is strong: 9.3 out of 10 across 1,888 reviews, and joint first place for review score among the 15 eligible properties we compared. A score at that level, from that many reviews, is hard to reach by luck.
Our data does not include a summary of specific praise or complaints for this hotel. That means room size, noise and the condition of the rooms are not confirmed. Read recent reviews on your booking site and look for comments from travellers on a similar trip to yours.
Price and how it compares with our other Monterrey picks
The reference price was €214.09 a night, against a sample median of €113.22. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates. Over two nights that comes to about €428.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Myst., came in at €84.90 a night with a score of 9.1 and four stars. Our Best Value pick, Tru By Hilton Monterrey Fundidora, was €98.78 with a score of 9.2 and three stars. Both score almost as well. What the extra money buys here is the five-star category, the pool, the garden and free parking.
Breakfast details are not confirmed in our data. Check whether your rate includes it before you compare totals.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 15 eligible properties in Monterrey. For the Luxury slot we prioritise officially rated five-star hotels, and this one had the joint best review score of the whole sample, plus a location rating of 9.7. That combination put it ahead of other upscale options.
Before you book
Check the cancellation terms, whether breakfast is included and the pool opening hours for your dates. Confirm how you will get to the sights you care about, because none of them are a short walk. If you need a quiet room, ask for one when you book, since noise has not been assessed.
