This 4-star hotel suits budget-minded travellers who still want a pool, a restaurant and air conditioning. The property also lists free parking, free Wi-Fi and a terrace, plus a gym according to its tags.
Guests like the staff, described as friendly, helpful and professional, and the breakfast buffet, praised for tasty, well-cooked food and daily variety.
Skip it if you plan to spend your days in the city centre. The museums and monuments are about 16 km away. Skip it also if you want the best-rated hotel: its score was the lowest of the 13 eligible properties we compared, even though 8.1 is still good.
Location and getting around
The hotel sits in the Kunduchi area, with the address listed as Mbezi Beach Area. The location score is 8.5.
Central sights are far. The National Museum of Tanzania is about 16.4 km away in a straight line, roughly 205 minutes on foot. The Askari Monument is about 16.6 km, around 208 minutes. St. Joseph's Cathedral is about 16.8 km, around 210 minutes. Walking is not realistic. You will need a taxi or public transport for any trip into town.
Free parking is listed, so a car or driver makes the location easier. Ask the hotel about taxi fares to the centre and journey times at your travel hours.
What guests say
The score is 8.1 out of 10 from 366 reviews. It was joint 13th of 13 eligible properties, which tells you how competitive the city sample was rather than that the hotel is poor.
Staff and breakfast lead the praise. Guests mention a warm welcome from a professional team, and a breakfast with tasty options and a wide daily selection.
On value, guests find prices reasonable for the standard, but some cite billing errors and unfair exchange rates. Check your bill carefully and ask which currency you will be charged in. Room size, noise, renovation state and cancellation terms have not been assessed.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
The reference price was €66.74 per night, about €133.48 for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
That is 52% below the sample median of €138.56. Our Best Value pick, Mediterraneo Boutique Hotel, was €102.08 per night with an 8.4 score and 3 stars. Our Luxury pick, Johari Rotana, was €194.30 per night with an 8.6 score and 5 stars.
You save about €35 a night against Best Value and about €128 against Luxury, and you still get 4 stars and a pool. The trade-off is location and a slightly lower score. Breakfast is listed as a buffet; inclusion in your rate is not confirmed.
