Sercotel EsteOeste

Yes, it is an easy booking for most visitors to Lugo: the top guest score we found, a location inside the walls and a price barely above the city median. The main thing to watch is breakfast, which guests find expensive, so check whether it is in your rate.

This 4-star hotel at 1 Praza de Santo Domingo suits couples, solo travellers and anyone who wants to explore Lugo on foot. With 9.4 from 2,631 reviews, it combines a very high score with one of the largest review bases in the city.
There are few obvious reasons to skip it. If you want the lowest possible bill, our Budget pick cost €12 less a night. If you need a pool, spa or on-site parking, none of these are listed, so look elsewhere or check with the hotel.
Location and getting around
With a location score of 9.9, this is the hotel's strongest suit. Guests describe it as central, inside the city walls and close to plazas and the main sights.
Lugo Cathedral is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. The Roman bridge of Lugo is about 1.3 km, around 16 minutes. Both are straight-line estimates, so allow a little more, but everything in our data is walkable.
Parking is not covered in our data. If you are driving, ask the hotel where to leave the car.
What guests say
Location and staff get the most praise. Reviewers like stepping straight out into the walled centre, and they describe the team as friendly and professional, with helpful suggestions and attentive service.
The complaint is about money, not quality. Room prices are seen as reasonable, but breakfast is considered expensive. The listed breakfast is continental and buffet.
Price compared with our other two Lugo picks
For 2 adults staying 10 to 12 November 2026, we saw €76.50 a night, about €153 for both nights. The median of the hotels compared was €72.00. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Lugo is a city where all three picks are strong. Hotel La Palloza, our Budget pick, scored 9.2 at €64.50 a night. Mercure Lugo Centro, our Best Value pick, also scored 9.2 and cost €79, slightly more than EsteOeste on our reference dates. That makes this Luxury choice unusually good value.
Listed facilities are a gym, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Breakfast inclusion is not confirmed, and given the guest comments it is worth comparing a room-only rate with a breakfast rate.
Why it made our top 3
