This hotel suits drivers on a tight budget. The reference price was €76.70 a night, the lowest of our three picks in Traverse City, and the property lists free parking. Couples and small groups who want a solid breakfast before a day out will find a lot to like, since guests single out the hot and cold spread.
It is a weaker fit for anyone who cares about bathrooms. The main complaint in reviews is a small layout with the sink outside the bathroom, slippery shower floors and an unpleasant water smell. If that would spoil your trip, the Bayshore Resort costs only about €9.50 more per night in our reference data and scores higher.
Location: Acme, outside the town centre
The address is 5520 US 31 North, in Acme. That places it outside central Traverse City, so plan on driving for most outings. We have no verified walking times to attractions for this property, and the listing does not confirm how far it is to downtown.
Guests rate the location 9.1 out of 10, which suggests the position works well for people travelling by car. Beach appears among the provider facilities, but that does not confirm a beachfront location or how far you would walk to the water. Check a map before you count on a beach stroll.
What guests say
The score is 8.6 out of 10 from 596 reviews, a large enough sample to trust the overall picture. Among the 9 eligible hotels we compared, that score shares 6th place, so it is good but not top of the table.
Breakfast earns the warmest comments. Guests mention eggs, meat, waffles and fruit, with both hot and cold items. The breakfast is listed as American style. Cleanliness is the second theme: rooms are described as consistently tidy and well kept.
The bathroom is the clear weak point. Reviews describe a small space, a sink outside the bathroom itself, slippery shower floors and odours from the water. These comments are consistent enough to take seriously.
Price and how it compares with our other two picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults in one room, put this hotel at €76.70 a night, or about €153 for the two nights. That was 11% below the sample median of €86.62. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, the Bayshore Resort, came in at €86.19 a night with a 9.0 score. Our Luxury pick, the Cambria Hotel Traverse City, was €118.02 a night with a 9.3 score. You save money here, but you give up some guest satisfaction and the bayside spot that Bayshore guests praise.
For the price, the listed facilities are a gym, a pool, free parking, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Opening hours and any fees are not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 9 eligible properties in Traverse City. After reserving the upscale choice, this hotel had the lowest eligible reference price, which makes it our Budget pick. A score of 8.6 from nearly 600 reviews shows it is not a gamble on a cheap room. The hotel is officially rated 4 stars.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Confirm whether breakfast is included in your rate, since the praise only helps if you are not paying extra.
Pets appear in the listing tags, so if you travel with an animal, check the pet policy and any fee directly with the hotel. Ask about pool hours too, as availability for your dates is not confirmed.
