Smy Pisa Plaza
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want a five-star hotel in Pisa with a pool, a restaurant and free parking, within walking distance of the Leaning Tower, and you accept paying a high premium. Skip it if you prefer a hotel with a long track record, as it has only 72 reviews and a score below our other two Pisa picks.

Smy Pisa Plaza is our Luxury pick for Pisa. It suits travellers who want five official stars, a swimming pool and on-site dining, and drivers who value the free parking listed by the property.
Family rooms, a garden, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning are also listed. The listing carries a pet-related tag, but the pet policy and any fees are not confirmed.
Skip it if you want proof from many past guests. With only 72 reviews, the picture is thin, and the 8.2 score sits below both our Budget and Best Value picks.
Location and getting around
The address is Via Caduti Del Lavoro 46. The location score is 8.4.
Straight-line estimates put the Pisa Baptistery about 1.2 km away, roughly 15 minutes on foot. The Leaning Tower of Pisa and Pisa Cathedral are both about 1.4 km, close to 18 minutes. That makes the main square a comfortable walk for most people.
Other sights and transport links are not in our data, so check a map for anything beyond the cathedral square.
What guests say
The hotel scores 8.2 out of 10 from 72 guest reviews. In our sample that put it joint fifth of 8 eligible properties for review score.
Our data does not include summarised guest likes or dislikes for this hotel, so we cannot tell you what guests praise or criticise most. That is a gap, and an honest one. Read the most recent reviews yourself before booking.
Room size, noise, renovation state, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed either.
Price and how it compares with our other Pisa picks
The reference price was 276 euros per night, about 552 euros for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes. The sample median was 110.31 euros, so you pay about two and a half times the typical rate.
Our Budget pick, Hotel Terminus & Plaza, was 81 euros a night with an 8.1 score and 3 stars. Our Best Value pick, Hotel Di Stefano, was 109 euros with an 8.6 score and 3 stars.
On guest score alone, Hotel Di Stefano is the stronger choice for 167 euros less per night. What Smy Pisa Plaza adds is five stars, the pool, free parking and a breakfast listed as Continental, Italian, Gluten-free and Buffet.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 hotels in Pisa. For the Luxury slot we favour official five-star hotels, and Smy Pisa Plaza is the five-star option in our sample. Its 8.2 score clears our bar, but the low review count means the rating could still move.
Before you book
Check today's price for your dates. Confirm whether breakfast is included and if the pool is open in your travel month.
