This three-star is our Budget pick for Montreal. It suits travellers on a tight budget, drivers who want free parking, and families, since family rooms are listed. Guests rate it 8.1 out of 10 across 1,098 reviews.
Skip it if you want to walk out of the door into the old city or downtown. The museum and cathedral in our data are both close to an hour or more on foot. Travellers who care most about guest scores should also note it placed low in our sample, as explained below.
Location and getting around
The address is 5440 Decarie Blvd. The location score is 8.1. Our data does not include guest comments on the neighbourhood, so check the map and recent reviews for what is around the hotel.
Saint Joseph's Oratory is about 1.5 km, roughly 19 minutes on foot. The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts is 4.5 km, about 56 minutes, and Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral 5.4 km, about 68 minutes. These are straight-line estimates. The museum and cathedral are far, so plan on public transport or a taxi for most sightseeing.
What guests say
Our data holds no summary of specific guest likes or dislikes for this hotel. What we can say is that 1,098 guests produced an average of 8.1 out of 10, which suggests most stays go smoothly but few stand out.
Because no recurring praise or complaints are recorded, read recent reviews before you book, paying attention to room size, noise and cleanliness. Those points, along with renovation condition and cancellation terms, have not been assessed.
Price and how it compares with our other Montreal picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November, 2 adults, one room) was €72.69 a night, around €145 for both nights. This is a reference price, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
That was 73% below the sample median of €267.81, a large gap. Our Best Value pick, Manoir Sherbrooke, was €138.78 a night with a score of 9.0. Our Luxury pick, The Ritz-Carlton, Montreal, was €582.52 with 9.6. So you save about €66 a night against Manoir Sherbrooke, but give up nearly a point of guest score.
Facilities listed by the property include a gym, restaurant, free parking, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Breakfast options are continental and buffet, but inclusion in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 13 eligible properties in Montreal. On guest score, this hotel was joint 12th of 13, near the bottom. It earned the Budget slot because, once the upscale choice was set aside, €72.69 was the lowest eligible reference price, and an 8.1 from more than 1,000 reviews is still a respectable result. It is on our list for price, not for score.
Before you book
Read several recent reviews, since we have no guest summary to share. Check whether breakfast is included, and confirm parking terms if you are driving. Plan how you will reach downtown and factor that cost into the saving. The hotel is tagged as pet friendly, but rules and fees are not confirmed, so ask directly.
