Spirit Hotel Benalmadena Beach is our Best Value pick in Benalmádena. It is a 4-star property listed as beachfront, with a gym, spa, pool, restaurant, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a terrace.
That makes it a strong fit for a beach break with some comfort: couples, friends travelling together, or anyone who wants a spa day between walks along the coast.
If you plan to spend most of your time at the farther sights, think about how you will get there, because they are a long way off. Families should note that family rooms are not on the listed facilities, so check room options directly.
Location and getting around
The address is Avenida Antonio Machado, 51. Guests rate the location 9.4 out of 10, one of the strongest parts of the record.

Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. Real routes can take longer.
What guests say
The hotel scores 9.0 out of 10 from 4,440 reviews. Among the 12 hotels we compared, it placed joint 4th of 12.
We do not have a summary of specific likes and dislikes for this hotel, so we cannot tell you what guests praise or criticise most. The 9.4 location score suggests the setting works well for most people.
To fill that gap, read recent reviews on the booking site and look for comments on noise, room condition, pool crowding and breakfast.
Price and what you get, compared with our other two picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November, 2 adults, one room) were €119.00 per night. The sample median was €120.55, so this hotel came in about 1% below. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Vive Costa Azul, scored 8.2 with 3 stars at €68.04 per night. Our Luxury pick, Vincci Selección Aleysa, scored 9.5 with 5 stars at €330 per night.
So this hotel sits in the middle. You pay about €51 more than the Budget pick for a higher score and a much longer facility list, and about €211 less than the Luxury pick.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 12 eligible hotels in Benalmádena. The Best Value slot balances guest score, number of reviews and reference price; it is not simply the cheapest option. A 9.0 from 4,440 reviews at a median price, plus a beachfront listing and spa, gave it the best balance.
