SpringHill Suites by Marriott Orlando North-Sanford
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Worth booking if you want the cheapest of our Sanford picks with free parking and a pool, especially if you are catching the Amtrak Auto Train. Expect some friction at the front desk, and if you can stretch the budget, our other two picks score higher.

This is our Budget pick in Sanford, Florida. It suits drivers, families and anyone using the Amtrak Auto Train station, which guests say is close by. Family rooms and free parking are listed.
If a smooth arrival matters to you, be aware of the main complaint. Guests report long waits for rooms at check-in and check-out, billing errors and occasional rude service. That sits oddly next to praise for the staff elsewhere, so experiences seem to vary.
Travellers who want the highest rated hotel in town should look at our Luxury pick, which scores 9.5.
Location and getting around
The address is 201 North Towne Road, and the location score is 9.0. Guests say it is close to restaurants, shopping and the Amtrak Auto Train station.
Our data does not list any nearby sights with distances for this hotel, so walking times are not confirmed. Before you go, map the places you want to visit from the address and decide whether you will need a car, a taxi or public transport. Free parking is listed if you drive.
What guests say
The score is 8.5 out of 10 from 305 reviews, sharing third place among the 5 eligible hotels we compared.
On the plus side, guests like the location near restaurants, shops and the Auto Train, and many describe the staff as friendly, helpful and efficient, with a warm welcome.
On the minus side, the front desk process draws criticism: long waits for rooms, billing errors and some rude service. Our data does not cover room size, noise or renovation condition, so treat those as unknown.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was about €97.83 per night, around €196 in total. That is 16% below the sample median of €116.86 per night. Prices change, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sanford - Lake Mary by IHG, was about €135.82 per night with a 9.0 score and 4 stars. Our Luxury pick, Comfort Inn & Suites Orlando Sanford Airport, was about €142.34 per night with a 9.5 score and 5 stars in our data.
The gap is worth noting. For about €38 more per night you can move up to a 9.0 score, and for about €45 more you reach 9.5. Here you save that money and still get free Wi-Fi, free parking, a fitness centre, a swimming pool and air conditioning, as listed. An American breakfast is listed too, but whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
Only 5 eligible hotels were in our Sanford sample, a small field. After setting aside the upscale choice, this one had the lowest eligible reference price, and its 8.5 score is still solid.
It earned the Budget slot on price, with a good location score and useful facilities for drivers and families.
Before you book
Check your booking confirmation and final bill carefully, given the reports of billing errors. If you arrive early or leave late, ask about room readiness and check-out times in advance.
Confirm whether breakfast is included and check pool and gym hours. Room size, noise and cancellation terms have not been assessed, so read the policy before paying.
