Stonecroft Inn is our Best Value pick for Windsor. It suits drivers, travellers who care most about a clean, modern room, and anyone who wants a simple stay with friendly staff and free parking.
It does not suit people who want facilities like a pool or gym, which are not listed here, or who expect a hot breakfast. It is also a poor base if you plan to walk to the sights in our data, all of which are more than 80 minutes away on foot.
Location and getting around
The address is 3032 Dougall Avenue, and the location score is 9.1.
Walking times are straight-line estimates. The Ambassador Bridge is 6.6 km away, about 83 minutes. Fort Pontchartrain du Détroit is 6.8 km away, about 85 minutes, and Comerica Park is 7.9 km away, about 99 minutes. All three are far, so plan on a car, public transport or a taxi. These sights are across the border, so the straight line does not show the real route; check how you will cross and which documents you need.
What guests say
The score is 9.1 out of 10 from 874 reviews. Guests single out room cleanliness, describing spotless, modern and well-maintained interiors with fresh furnishings. The team is called friendly and accommodating, with helpful service and a warm welcome.
The main complaint is breakfast. The continental selection is fresh, but it lacks hot protein options such as eggs or meat.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price was €96.98 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov) for 2 adults in one room, about €193.96 in total. It is a reference figure, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Caesars Windsor Hotel & Casino - A Caesars Rewards Destination, was €91.12 per night with an 8.3 score and 4 stars. Our Luxury pick, DoubleTree by Hilton Windsor, ON, was €109.50 per night with an 8.5 score and 4 stars. Stonecroft Inn has only 2 stars and fewer facilities, but the highest guest score, at a price between the other two.
Listed facilities are free parking, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk. A continental breakfast is listed. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 7 hotels in Windsor. Stonecroft Inn shared the top review-score position among the eligible properties. The Best Value slot balances score, review count and price, and a 9.1 from 874 reviews at a price below the sample middle made it the strongest fit.
