Sugar Bay Barbados - All Inclusive
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want a beachfront stay with a pool, spa and gym on site and plan to spend most of your time at the hotel. If you mainly want a bed while you explore the island, our other two Bridgetown picks cost a fraction of the price.

Sugar Bay Barbados - All Inclusive is our Luxury pick for Bridgetown. It suits couples and families who want the beach, a pool, a spa, a gym and a restaurant without leaving the property. Family rooms are listed.
Skip it if cost per night is your main filter. It was more than three times the sample median in our reference check. It is also a 4-star hotel, not five-star, and its guest score was slightly below our Budget pick's.
Location and getting around
The address is listed simply as Garrison Historic Area, so check the exact position on a map before booking. The property lists itself as beachfront, and the location score is 9.0 out of 10.
Our straight-line estimates measure about 2.4 km, roughly 30 minutes on foot, to the Garrison Historic Area point we use. Jama Mosque is about 3.4 km away (around 43 minutes) and Oistins about 6.6 km (around 83 minutes). Both of those are far on foot, so plan on a taxi or public transport. Free parking is listed if you rent a car.
What guests say
Guests give it 8.7 out of 10 from 116 reviews, joint second of the 4 eligible properties in the sample. With over 100 reviews, the score is a reasonable guide.
Our data does not include specific praise or complaints from guests. At this price, read recent reviews carefully for comments on food, drinks, rooms and the beach before you pay.
Price and what you get
We saw €790.71 per night, about €1,581 for 2 nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November, 2 adults, one room), not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
The sample median was €252.69. Our Budget pick, Adulo Apartments, was €137.70 with an 8.9 score, and our Best Value pick, Blue Orchids Beach Hotel, was €267.20 with an 8.3 score. The name says all inclusive, but our data does not confirm what the rate covers. Check exactly what meals, drinks and activities are included, because that is the only fair way to compare this price with the other two.
The property lists beachfront access, a gym, a spa, a pool, a restaurant, free parking, family rooms, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. A buffet breakfast is listed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 4 eligible hotels in Bridgetown. For the Luxury slot we look for five-star hotels first; a four-star hotel qualifies only with a score of at least 8.5. This official 4-star hotel scored 8.7 from 116 reviews and lists beachfront access, a spa, a pool and a gym, which secured the slot.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read the rate description in detail, especially what the all-inclusive package covers, and check the cancellation policy, since the amount at stake is high.
Ask about spa prices and opening times, and confirm the exact location on a map if being close to the Garrison area matters to you.
