Temizay Hotel
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Temizay Hotel is worth booking if you want a central, low-cost base in Çanakkale and care more about location than breakfast variety. Travellers who want a higher guest score or more polish should look at our other two picks.

This is our Budget pick in Çanakkale. It suits travellers who plan to spend the day out and only need a clean, central room at a fair price. Couples on a short trip and families on a tight budget are the obvious fit, since the property lists family rooms and free parking.
Skip it if a strong breakfast matters to you or if you want the best-rated hotel in town. The guest score of 8.0 is good, but it placed 6th of the 7 hotels we compared on reviews. Our Best Value and Luxury picks both score higher.
Location and getting around
The address is Cumhuriyet Meydani No:9, and location is clearly the strong point. Guests give it 9.1 for location and describe it as central, within walking distance of the ferry port, the promenade, shops and restaurants.
Distances to sights are short on paper. Çanakkale Naval Museum is about 0.4 km away, roughly 5 minutes on foot. Çanakkale Archaeological Museum is about 1.8 km, around 23 minutes. Kilitbahir Castle is listed at about 2.1 km, or 26 minutes.
Keep in mind that these walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. The real route can be longer, so check a map before you plan a day around any of them.
What guests say
The score is 8.0 out of 10 from 786 reviews, which is a decent sample. Praise centres on the position: being able to walk to the ferry port, the seafront and places to eat comes up again and again.
Breakfast is the mixed point. Many guests call it tasty and sufficient, but some find the variety limited. If a large spread is part of how you judge a hotel, factor that in.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults, was €68.40 per night. That was about 24% below the median of €90.39 across the hotels we compared. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
For that money you get a 3-star hotel with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a restaurant, free parking and family rooms, according to the property. Availability and any fees for these should be confirmed.
Our Best Value pick, Artur Hotel, is also 3 stars and scores 8.8, with a reference price of €186.81 per night. The Luxury pick, Kolin Hotel Spa & Convention Center, is 5 stars, scores 9.0 and came in at €148 per night. In these reference figures the 5-star option was cheaper than the Best Value one, so compare all three for your dates before deciding.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 7 eligible hotels in Çanakkale. Temizay Hotel had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside, and it pairs that price with an 8.0 score from 786 reviews and a 9.1 location rating.
It did not win on guest score. It won on cost and position, which is what a Budget pick should do.
Before you book
Breakfast type and whether it is included in your rate are not confirmed in our data. Check the rate details on the booking page.
Room size, noise levels, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read recent reviews for noise, since a central square location can be lively, and check the cancellation policy before you pay.
Confirm free parking availability for your dates if you are arriving by car.
