This 4-star hotel scores 9.1 from 2,197 reviews, the best score among the hotels we compared in town. Its location score is 9.5.
It suits couples on a short break, families who need family rooms and anyone who wants a spa, gym, restaurant, garden and terrace on site.
If you mainly want the lowest bill, note that some guests found the room rates and dining costs high. Our Budget pick is cheaper, though it scores lower.
Location and getting around
The address is Schmilinskystraße 2, in what the listing calls the top-rated area of Timmendorfer Strand. Our data does not give walking times to the beach or the town centre, so check the map if being close to the sea matters to you.
The two sights in our data are both far. Hansa-Park and The Oath of Kärnan are each about 8.5 km away, roughly 106 minutes on foot. Plan on a car, public transport or a taxi for both.
Walking times are straight-line estimates. Parking is not listed in our data, so ask the hotel if you are driving.
What guests say
Breakfast is the standout. Guests describe an extensive buffet with fresh regional products, barista coffee and egg dishes cooked to order. Continental and buffet options are listed.
Staff also get strong praise: friendly, attentive and professional, with a warm welcome and helpful service.
The weak point is value. Guests rate the amenities highly, but some think room rates and restaurant prices are excessive.

Why it made our top 3
We compared only 4 eligible hotels in Timmendorfer Strand, a small sample, and this one shared first place on review score.
It is our Best Value choice because it balances the score, the number of reviews and the price. In this town it also happens to be the best rated of our three picks.
