The Eden Hall Inn

Yes, this is the inn to book if you want to walk to downtown Charlottetown and still pay close to the city median. It suits couples and families who value location and breakfast more than a big bathroom.

Couples on a short city break get the most out of it. The score is 9.4 out of 10 from 603 reviews, and the location score is 9.8, the strongest number on the page. Families can ask for one of the listed family rooms.
Skip it if a roomy bathroom matters to you. Guests say some suites have renovated, spacious bathrooms, but many describe them as cramped with small showers. Room size and noise have not been assessed, so travellers who sleep lightly should ask before booking.
Location and getting around
The inn sits at 12 West Street, in the Historic Charlottetown Waterfront area. All Souls' Chapel is about 0.3 km away, roughly 4 minutes on foot. St. Dunstan's Basilica is about 0.6 km, around 8 minutes.
Those walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been checked on the ground, so real routes may take a little longer. Guests say downtown shops, restaurants and the waterfront park are all within walking distance. Free parking is listed if you arrive by car.
What guests say
Two things come up again and again in reviews. The first is the location, close enough to do the downtown on foot. The second is breakfast: a hot and cold buffet with fresh fruit, yogurt and homemade pastries. The property lists continental and buffet options.
The main complaint is the bathroom. Small showers and tight layouts appear often, even though a few suites have been renovated. It is worth asking which room type you are getting.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
The reference price was €117.19 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov) for 2 adults in one room. That is about €234 for both nights and roughly 4% below the sample median of €122.03. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Hampton Inn & Suites Charlottetown, came in at €109.33 a night with a score of 8.6, but it is out on Capital Drive, far from the old town. The Luxury pick, Sydney Boutique Inn & Suites, scored 9.5 at €140.82. For about €8 more than the Budget option, this inn puts you near the waterfront with a much higher score.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 8 eligible properties in Charlottetown. This one shares second place on guest score among them, and its price sits just under the middle of the range. That mix of a high score, a solid review count and a fair price is what the Best Value slot is for. It is not the cheapest hotel in town and does not try to be.
Before you book
Check whether breakfast is included in your rate, because that has not been confirmed. Ask about bathroom size if you are booking a standard room. Confirm the cancellation terms and current condition of the room you are offered.
The property lists free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a garden and a terrace. A spa also appears in some listings, but it is not on the confirmed facility list, so ask the inn directly if that matters to you.
