The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Alizé, Évian-les-Bains
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Yes, it is worth booking if you want a central, well-located room in Évian-les-Bains for clearly less than the town's median price. It is a weaker fit for drivers with heavy luggage, as there is no on-site parking and the garage spaces are nearby rather than at the door.

Couples, short-break visitors and anyone planning to spend time at the thermal baths will find the location practical. Family rooms are listed, and guests often mention a warm welcome and good local advice from the team.
Think twice if you arrive by car with lots of bags. Guests say the secure garage spaces are nearby, but there is nowhere on site to stop and unload. If you want a higher score and are happy to spend more, our Best Value pick scored 8.7.
Location and getting around
The hotel is at 5 place du Port, and its location score is 9.5 out of 10. Guests describe a central setting near pedestrian streets, restaurants and the thermal baths.
Our data has no measured walking times to specific sights, so check a map for the places you plan to visit. Beach appears among the provider facilities, but that does not confirm a beachfront position or how far any beach is. Do not book on the assumption of direct beach access.
What guests say
The hotel scores 8.3 out of 10 from 506 reviews. That placed it fourth of the four properties we compared, so the other options in town score a little higher.
The praise is consistent on two points: the central location and a friendly, professional team. The main drawback is parking. Secure garage spaces exist nearby, but guests point out the lack of an on-site spot for loading and unloading luggage.
Price and value next to our other two picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults were about €97.40 per night, so about €195 for both nights. The sample median was €129.00, which makes this hotel roughly 24% cheaper. These are not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
The listing shows a restaurant, a terrace, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, with a continental and buffet breakfast. Whether breakfast is in your rate is not confirmed. La Verniaz et ses Chalets, our Best Value pick, was €124.60 with an 8.7 score. Hôtel Ermitage, our Luxury pick, was €256.50 with an 8.8 score, both at 4 stars against this hotel's 3.
Why it made our top 3
We compared four eligible properties in Évian-les-Bains. After setting aside the upscale choice, this hotel had the lowest reference price, which is how we fill the Budget slot. A 9.5 location score means the lower price does not push you out of the centre.
Before you book
Ask the hotel how parking and luggage drop-off work, and whether the garage carries a fee. Confirm breakfast inclusion, and if you travel with a pet, check the pet policy and any charges, since we have no detail on that.
Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Read the cancellation rules on your booking before you pay.
