Couples and families who want a high-scoring, quiet base for a coastal city break are the natural audience. Family rooms are listed and the property is tagged as pet friendly.
Train travellers benefit too. Guests describe a quiet setting near the train station and the city centre, with the beach in walking distance.
Skip it if you expect a spa, pool or gym. None is listed. The facilities in the data are family rooms, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a terrace.
Location and getting around
The address is Oesterbankstraat 6, in Oostende Center, with a location score of 9.2.
Sint-Petrus-en-Pauluskerk is about 0.4 km away, roughly 5 minutes on foot. The Second Ostend Raid site is about 1.2 km, around 15 minutes. Batimont Solar Park is about 2.9 km, near 36 minutes, which is far enough that public transport or a taxi is the sensible choice.
Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified. The beach is described by guests as walkable, but the exact distance is not in our data.
What guests say
Breakfast is the standout. Guests describe an extensive buffet with fresh options, sparkling wine and a wide choice.
The location also gets praise for being quiet while close to the station, the centre and the beach.
Cleanliness draws some criticism. The hotel is described as generally tidy, but some guests report dust, hair or dirty floors. With 1,583 reviews behind a 9.2, these comments are a minority, but worth knowing.
