Location and getting around
The address is 40 Berkeley Street, in the South End. The location score of 9.1 is one of its strongest numbers.
Straight-line estimates put the Boston Public Garden about 0.9 km away, roughly 11 minutes on foot. Boston Common is about 1.1 km, around 14 minutes, and King's Chapel about 1.6 km, roughly 20 minutes.
All three are under half an hour on foot. Real routes can be a little longer, but most of central Boston's classic sights in our data are walkable from here.
What guests say
Our data does not include a summary of what guests like or dislike about this hotel. That is a real gap, so we cannot tell you whether rooms, staff or noise draw praise or complaints.
What we do have is the score: 8.5 out of 10 from more than 4,000 reviews, plus a 9.1 for location. Before booking, read the most recent reviews on the booking site, looking especially at comments on room size, noise and cleanliness.
Price and how it compares with our other Boston picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults in one room, was €161.74 per night, about €323 for both nights. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
That is 52% below the sample median of €339.56. Our Best Value pick, Hyatt Place Boston/Seaport District, was €198.12 a night with a score of 8.9. Our Luxury pick, The Langham, Boston, was €786.36 with a score of 9.2 and five stars.
So about €36 a night more would buy a noticeably higher score at the Best Value pick. Here you save that money and get a strong location score in return.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 18 eligible hotels in Boston. After reserving the upscale choice, this one had the lowest eligible reference price, which put it in our Budget slot.
In a city where the median was close to €340 a night, a central three-star hotel at about half that price, with more than 4,000 reviews behind its score, is hard to ignore.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Breakfast is not confirmed at all in our data, so check whether any is offered and whether it costs extra.
Since guest likes and dislikes are missing, read recent reviews. Ask about gym and restaurant hours if they matter to you, and confirm pet rules if you travel with an animal.
