Sightseers on a budget are the obvious match. The Mevlâna Museum is about 3 minutes away on foot, and two other major sights are within a quarter of an hour. Guests also rate the breakfast, so it suits anyone who likes to start the day at the hotel.
Drivers get free parking, which is listed by the property. Family rooms are listed too.
Travellers with a lot of luggage, or who simply want space, should think again. The main complaint is room size: some units are spacious, but many guests find the standard rooms tight. If that matters, book a larger room type or look at our other picks.
Location and getting around
The hotel sits at No:67 Mevlana Caddesi in Konya City Center, with a location score of 9.7 out of 10, the strongest number in its profile.
Nearby sights by straight-line estimate: the Mevlâna Museum is about 0.2 km, roughly 3 minutes on foot. The Alâeddin Mosque is about 0.9 km, around 11 minutes. İnce Minareli Medrese is about 1.1 km, around 14 minutes. None of these needs transport, though real walking routes may run a little longer than these estimates.
Guests also mention tram stops close by, plus shops, which makes trips further afield easier.
What guests say
The score is 8.5 out of 10 from 801 reviews. Among the 7 eligible properties we compared, that placed it second on score.
Two things win praise. The location, steps from the Mevlâna Museum, shops and tram stops. And breakfast: a varied buffet with fresh fruit, croissants and traditional Turkish dishes, according to guests.
The recurring complaint is room size. Many guests find standard rooms tight, even though some units are described as spacious.
