Ukraina Hotel is our Budget pick in Cherkasy. It suits drivers, families and travellers who prefer green surroundings to a city street. Guests describe a pine forest setting with fresh air, and the property lists a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and family rooms.
It also suits anyone who wants helpful staff without paying much. That is the theme that comes up most in reviews.
Light sleepers may want to think twice. Some guests report disturbance from events and thin walls. And if you want to walk to the city's sights, this is not the right base.
Location and getting around
The address is Lesnaya Str.1. Guests rate the location 9.5 out of 10, praising the forest surroundings and easy access to the city.
The only sight in our data is St. Michael's Cathedral, Cherkasy, about 6.7 km away. On foot that is roughly 84 minutes as a straight-line estimate, which is far. You will need public transport or a taxi to get there and to reach most of the city.
Free parking is listed, so arriving by car is the simplest option.
What guests say
The hotel scores 8.9 out of 10 from 732 reviews, joint fourth of 6 eligible properties in the sample.
Staff are the most praised part of the stay: friendly, professional and helpful with requests. The setting is the other strong point, with guests enjoying the pine forest and fresh air while still reaching the city easily.
Noise is the recurring complaint. The surroundings are peaceful, but events at the property and thin walls sometimes disturb guests.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
For 10 to 12 November 2026, 2 adults and one room, the reference price seen was €54.88 a night, about €109.76 in total. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
That was 8% below the sample median of €59.63 a night. In Cherkasy, though, the price gaps between our picks are small. Optima Cherkasy Hotel, our Best Value pick, was €58.11 a night with a 9.0 score and 3 stars. REST INN apart hotel, our Luxury pick, was €68.42 a night with a 9.5 score and 4 stars.
So for about €3 more a night you could have a slightly higher score, and for about €14 more you reach a 4-star place rated 9.5. Ukraina Hotel wins if the forest setting, free parking and the on-site restaurant matter to you. A buffet breakfast is listed.
