Willis Hotel Business & Wellness
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Yes, it is worth booking for most visitors: it is central, has the most reviews of our three Zalaegerszeg picks and cost the same as the city median on our dates. Skip it only if you want the lowest price or the highest guest score, where our Budget pick wins.

This is our Luxury pick in Zalaegerszeg, a 4-star hotel. It suits travellers who want a central base, a strong breakfast and free parking in one place. Guests describe the staff as friendly, polite and attentive.
People with dietary needs should take note. Breakfast is listed as a buffet with gluten-free options, and guests mention choices for different requirements.
Skip it if you expect a full spa from the name. A spa or wellness area is not in the facilities list we have, so check before you book if that is why you are choosing it.
Location and getting around
The address is Balatoni út 2/a. Guests rate the location 9.4 out of 10, the best of our three picks in the city.
Hevesi Sándor Theatre is 0.4 km away, about 5 minutes on foot by straight-line estimate. Bazita Peak TV Tower is 4.4 km, about 55 minutes, which is far. Use a taxi or public transport for that trip.
Free parking is listed, which makes it easy if you are driving into town. Confirm it for your dates.
What guests say
The score is 8.8 out of 10 from 653 reviews, second of the 3 eligible hotels in the sample. That review count is the largest of our three picks, so the score rests on a broad base.
Breakfast gets the most praise: plentiful, varied and tasty, with options for dietary requirements. Staff come next, described as friendly and helpful.
The main complaint is the bathroom. Guests say it is spacious and modern, but water pressure is inconsistent and there are maintenance issues. Read recent reviews to see whether this is still being raised.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
For a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov, 2 adults), the reference price was €112.60 per night, about €225 in total. That matched the sample median exactly. These are reference prices, not live quotes, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Budget pick, Bubble Hotel és Rendezvényközpont, is 3 stars, scores 9.3 and was €104.20 per night. Our Best Value pick, Arany Bárány Hotel, is 3 stars, scores 8.6 and was €141.41 per night.
So on those dates the Luxury pick was not the most expensive. It cost about €8.40 more than the Budget option and about €28.81 less than Arany Bárány. For a 4-star hotel with the top location score in the group, that is a good price.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 3 eligible hotels in Zalaegerszeg. Our Luxury slot goes to a 5-star hotel first. When none qualifies, a 4-star hotel can take it only with a score of at least 8.5. The Willis is officially 4 stars and scores 8.8, so it qualified.
