This is our Best Value pick for Windhoek. It is a 4-star hotel with a guest score of 8.6 out of 10 from 2,378 reviews, and a location score of 8.6. The facility list points to travellers who want more than a bed: a spa, a pool, a garden, a terrace and a restaurant are all listed. Free parking makes it practical if you are starting or ending a road trip with a hire car, and family rooms are listed for families.
Skip it if you want the cheapest option, which is our Budget pick, or a 5-star stay, which is our Luxury pick. Also be aware that we hold less guest detail for this hotel than for most: no summary of what guests like or dislike is available to us.
Location and getting around
The address is listed as 31 Pasteur Street 31. Two churches are within walking range. St. Mary's Cathedral is about 0.9 km away, roughly 11 minutes on foot, and Christ Church about 1.5 km, around 19 minutes. These are straight-line estimates, so the real route can take longer.
Heroes' Acre is a different story. At about 11.4 km, around 143 minutes on foot, it is far. You will need a car, a taxi or public transport. With free parking at the hotel, a hire car is the simplest way to cover longer distances.
What guests say
The headline numbers are solid: 8.6 from 2,378 reviews is a large sample. Beyond that, our data does not include a summary of recurring praise or complaints, so we cannot tell you what guests single out for better or worse.
Room size, noise levels, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have also not been assessed. Before booking, read the most recent reviews and look for comments on room condition, noise and the quality of the spa and pool.
Price compared with our other two Windhoek picks
The reference price was €125.30 per night, about €250.60 for 2 nights. That is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 Nov) for 2 adults in one room, not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates. It sat 1% below the sample median of €126.05 per night.
Town Lodge Windhoek, Namibia, our Budget pick, is a 2-star hotel at €76.81 per night with a score of 8.0, about €48 a night cheaper. The Weinberg Windhoek, our Luxury pick, is a 5-star hotel at €299.54 per night with a score of 9.1, more than double the price. This hotel sits between them on stars, score and price.
Continental and buffet breakfast styles are listed. Whether breakfast is in your rate is not confirmed.
