This is our Luxury pick in Brasília. It suits business travellers, couples and families who want a full-service hotel with a gym, spa, pool and restaurant, and a location closer to the monuments than our other picks. Family rooms are listed and it is tagged as pet-friendly.
Skip it if you are a light sleeper and cannot secure a quiet room. Guests report noise through thin walls, loud air conditioning and renovation work.
Location and getting around
The address is SHS Quadra 5 Bloco H, in the South Wing. The location score is 9.7 out of 10, the strongest point in the data.
The Cathedral of Brasília is about 1.8 km away, roughly 23 minutes on foot. The National Congress Palace is about 3 km, roughly 38 minutes, and Praça dos Três Poderes about 3.3 km, roughly 41 minutes. Those last two are over half an hour, so a taxi or public transport makes sense, especially in the heat. Walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified.
What guests say
The score is 9.4 out of 10 from 2,353 reviews. Breakfast is a highlight, described as an extensive buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold options. The listing gives continental, American and buffet styles. Staff are the other frequent compliment, described as friendly, polite and professional.
Soundproofing is the clear weakness. Guests mention thin walls that let neighbours' noise through, loud air conditioning and noise from renovation work. Whether renovation is still under way for your dates is not confirmed.
