You Hotel Amiens - Handwritten Collection

By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.

Yes, it is worth booking if you want the best-rated hotel in our Amiens sample and a short walk to the cathedral. Think twice if price is tight, since it costs more than double our Budget pick, and guest comment themes are not available to tell you more.

Who it suits and who should skip it

This is our Luxury pick in Amiens. It is an official 4-star hotel that suits couples, families and business travellers who want a well-rated base close to the centre. The property lists a fitness centre, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and the provider data tags it as pet friendly.

Skip it if you are counting every euro. Our Budget and Best Value picks cost noticeably less, and Amiens had no 5-star option in our shortlist, so you are paying for a 4-star with a top score rather than a grand hotel.

Location and getting around

The address is 5 rue Marie Denizard. Guests rate the location 8.6 out of 10.

By straight-line estimate, Amiens Cathedral is about 0.9 km away, roughly 11 minutes on foot, and the Musée de Picardie is 1.3 km away, around 16 minutes. These are estimates, not verified routes. Both are within easy walking range for most people. Parking is not listed in our data, so ask the hotel if you are driving.

What guests say

The hotel scores 8.9 out of 10 from 206 guest reviews. That placed it joint 1st of 6 eligible hotels in our sample on guest score.

We do not have summarised themes of what guests like or dislike for this hotel. That means we cannot tell you whether people praise the beds, the staff or the breakfast, or what they complain about. The sample of 206 reviews is also on the smaller side. Read a selection of recent reviews before you book, and pay attention to comments on noise and room size.

Price and what you get compared with our other picks

Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults were €145.20 a night, about €290 for both nights. The sample median was €125.29. These are not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.

Our Budget pick, Ibis Budget Amiens Centre Gare, is a 2-star scoring 8.3 at €66.46 a night. Our Best Value pick, ibis Styles Amiens Sud, is a 3-star scoring 8.5 at €105.39. Moving up here costs about €40 a night more than Best Value, and in return you get a fourth star, a gym and the highest guest score of the three.

Breakfast is listed as continental and buffet. Whether it is included in your rate is not confirmed.

Why it made our top 3

We compared 6 eligible hotels in Amiens. Five-star hotels get priority for our Luxury slot, and a 4-star can only take it with a score of at least 8.5. This hotel cleared that bar with 8.9, the top guest score in the sample.

Before you book

Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Since we lack guest comment themes, recent reviews are your best source on these points.

If you bring a pet, confirm the policy and any fee. Check gym opening times, and whether breakfast is part of your rate.
