Hotel Pax Guadalajara is our Luxury pick in Guadalajara, Spain. No five-star hotel made the cut here, so the slot went to a four-star with a strong guest score. It suits road trippers, families and anyone who wants a pool and gym with parking included.
The address points to exit 56 of the N2, which makes it easy to reach by car. If you want to stay right among the monuments and walk out of the door into the old streets, a 15-minute walk each way may feel like a compromise.
Location and getting around
The address is Avenida Venezuela, 15 - N2 salida 56. Guests rate the location 8.4 out of 10.
Walking times are straight-line estimates. The Guadalajara Co-cathedral and the Chapel of Luis de Lucena are each about 1.1 km away, around 14 minutes on foot. The Church of San Ginés is about 1.2 km away, roughly 15 minutes. All three are within a reasonable walk, though real routes can be longer than the straight line.
What guests say
The hotel scores 8.6 out of 10 from 2,801 guest reviews. That is a large sample, and it placed the hotel joint first by review score in our comparison.
We do not have a summary of what guests specifically praise or criticise. Before booking, read recent reviews and look for comments on noise from the road, room condition and breakfast.
Price and how it compares with our other Guadalajara picks
The reference price was €99 a night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, so about €198 in total. It is not a live quote. Check today's price for your dates.
Prices in this city sit very close together. Our Budget pick, Hotel Guadalajara and Conference Center, Affiliated by Meliá, was €96 a night with a score of 8.4. Our Best Value pick, AC Hotel Guadalajara by Marriott, Spain, was €108.90 with 8.5. All three are four-star hotels. Pax had the highest score of the three and sat in the middle on price, which is unusual for a Luxury pick.
Why it made our top 3
Only 3 eligible properties were compared in Guadalajara, so this is a small field. Our rules prefer five-star hotels for the Luxury slot and accept a four-star only if it scores at least 8.5. Pax cleared that bar with 8.6 and the largest review count of our three picks. Its nightly rate matched the sample median of €99.
