Blaumar Hotel
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Worth booking if you want a 4-star hotel across from the beach promenade with a spa, pool and a well-liked breakfast. Check the full cost first, though: on our reference dates it cost more than our Luxury pick in Salou, and guests dislike paying extra for parking and the safe.

Beach-focused couples and families are the main audience. Blaumar Hotel has 4 stars and scores 8.7 out of 10 from 2,499 reviews. Its location score is 9.5. Family rooms are listed, along with a pool, spa and gym.
If you are counting every euro, think again. The room rate on our reference dates was above the city median, and guests mention extra charges for parking and the in-room safe. Our Budget pick in Salou cost less than half as much.
Location and getting around
The address is Paseo Jaime I - S/N, in Salou City Centre. Guests say it is directly opposite the beach promenade and a short walk to shops and restaurants.
The Shambhala roller coaster is about 2 km away, roughly 25 minutes on foot. PortAventura Park is about 2.3 km, around 29 minutes. Both are within walking range, though it is a fair stretch in summer heat. The Roman Theatre in Tarragona is about 10.4 km, close to 130 minutes, so that one is far and needs public transport or a taxi. All times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
Location is the top compliment, with the promenade just across the road. Breakfast follows close behind: a wide variety of fresh options, egg dishes and even champagne.
Complaints focus on extras. Room rates seem reasonable to many guests, but there are frequent complaints about paying separately for parking and for the safe. Ask about both before you arrive.
Price and what you get versus our other picks
Our reference price was €111.96 per night, seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults. The sample median was €79.62. Treat this as a reference price, not a live quote, and check today's price for your dates.
Áncora Salou La Siesta Apartments, our Budget pick, was €52.48 per night with a score of 8.7 and 4 stars. Hotel Olympus Palace, our Luxury pick, was €94.96 with a score of 8.9 and 4 stars. On those dates this hotel was the most expensive of the three, and the Luxury pick scored higher. That is unusual. Prices in a resort town shift a lot by season, so compare all three for your own dates before you decide.
Listed facilities include beachfront, a gym, spa, pool, restaurant, terrace, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. A buffet breakfast is offered. Whether it is part of your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 9 eligible hotels in Salou. This one ranked joint second on review score, with a large base of 2,499 reviews. As our Best Value choice, it balances score, review count and price. It is not necessarily the cheapest, and on our reference dates it clearly was not.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Ask for the parking and safe charges. Check spa and pool opening times and fees for your dates, since a November stay may differ from summer. Confirm whether breakfast is in your rate.
