This is our Luxury pick in Ingolstadt. It holds a guest score of 9.1 from 3,790 reviews, the highest in the sample we looked at. The star rating is 4, estimated by the accommodation rather than official.
It suits couples and business travellers who want a spa and gym after a day out, and families, since family rooms are listed. Pets are also tagged, but the rules are not confirmed.
Skip it if price comes first. At the reference price it was well above the city median, and our Budget and Best Value picks both cost less.
Location and getting around
The hotel sits at Schloßlände 24. The New Castle is about 0.1 km away, roughly a 1 minute walk. Guests rate the location 9.5 out of 10.
The Audi museum mobile is about 2.4 km away, roughly 30 minutes on foot. That is walkable for most people, but on a cold or wet day you may prefer public transport or a taxi.
Walking times are straight-line estimates, so allow a little extra on real streets.
What guests say
Our data does not include a summary of specific likes or dislikes for this hotel. What we do have is the score: 9.1 from 3,790 reviews is a large sample and a strong result.
Because the detail is missing, read a handful of recent reviews before you book. Look for comments on room size, noise and breakfast, none of which have been assessed here.
Price and what you get compared with our other picks
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults was €204.40 per night. That is a reference price, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
It sat above the sample median of €167.88. IntercityHotel Ingolstadt, our Budget pick with 4 stars and 8.3, was €131.50. Hotel am Campus, our Best Value pick with 4 stars and 8.9, was €145.80. So you pay roughly €59 to €73 more per night here.
What that extra buys, according to the property listing: a spa and wellness centre, a pool, a gym, a restaurant, a terrace, family rooms, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Breakfast is listed as continental, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and buffet. Whether breakfast is included has not been checked.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 6 eligible hotels in Ingolstadt. The Luxury slot goes first to five-star hotels, and a four-star hotel needs at least 8.5 to qualify. With 9.1, this one came first of the 6 on review score.
Add a location score of 9.5 and the widest list of facilities among the data we hold, and it was the obvious upscale choice.
Before you book
