Amar Singh Palace By Signature Stayz NR Taj Mahal
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if price is your first filter: at about €17.54 a night it was the cheapest of our three Agra picks and still holds an 8.0 guest score. Skip it if you want the strongest reviews in town, because it sat last on score among the 15 hotels we compared.

This is a hotel for travellers who want a bed close to the Taj Mahal and would rather spend their money elsewhere. Couples on a tight budget, backpackers moving through Agra in a day or two, and families who need a family room and free parking all fit the profile.
Skip it if guest score matters more to you than price. An 8.0 from 120 reviews is solid, but it placed 15th of 15 on score in our sample. The two other picks in Agra both score above 9. Also note that we have no written guest comments for this property, positive or negative, so the picture is thinner than usual.
Location and getting around
The address is 661,662, Dhandhupura road, Tajganj, and the location score is 8.6. The Taj Mahal is about 1.6 km away, roughly a 20 minute walk on a straight-line estimate. Real routes in Agra may take longer.
Agra Fort and Itmad Ud Daulah are each about 3.7 km away, around 46 minutes on foot. That is far. Plan on public transport or a taxi for both, especially in the heat of the day. Free parking is listed if you arrive by car.
What guests say
Guests rate the hotel 8.0 out of 10 across 120 reviews. That is a reasonable result for a room at this price, though the review count is modest.
The data does not include summarised guest likes or dislikes for this hotel. That means we cannot tell you whether people praise the staff or complain about noise. Before booking, read the most recent reviews yourself and look for comments on cleanliness, hot water and the state of the pool.
Price and what you get
The reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026, for 2 adults, was about €17.54 per night. The sample median across the hotels we compared was €128.84, so this is roughly 86% below the middle of the market. It is not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
For comparison, our Best Value pick, The Taj Vista Agra -walking distance to Taj Mahal, came in at about €36.55 a night with a 9.4 score. The Luxury pick, Trident Agra, was about €118.11 with a 9.2 score and five stars. Paying roughly double gets you a much higher guest score at The Taj Vista.
Listed facilities here include a swimming pool, a restaurant, free parking, family rooms, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a terrace. Breakfast styles listed include continental, Italian, full English, vegetarian, halal, Asian, buffet and breakfast to go. Whether breakfast is included in your rate has not been confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 15 eligible hotels in Agra. This one won the Budget slot because it had the lowest eligible reference price once the upscale choice was set aside, and it still cleared an 8.0 guest score.
It is a four-star listing with a pool at a price well under most of the market. That combination is rare in our sample, even if its score is the lowest of the group.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. Check each one on the booking page for your dates.
Confirm that the pool and restaurant are open when you travel, and ask whether any fees apply. If you plan to visit Agra Fort or Itmad Ud Daulah, budget for transport.
