Trident Agra
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Yes, it is easy to recommend: a five-star hotel with a 9.2 score from 938 reviews, priced below the city median in our November 2026 reference prices. Book it if you want full facilities near the Taj Mahal, but skip it if you only need a bed, because our other two Agra picks cost a fraction of the price.

Its score of 9.2 out of 10 comes from 938 reviews, which is a large and reliable sample.

Location and getting around
The address is Fatehabad Road. The location score is 9.4, and guests say it is a short distance from the Taj Mahal and near the expressway.
The Taj Mahal is about 2.5 km away, around 31 minutes on foot on a straight-line estimate. That is just over 30 minutes, so many people will prefer a taxi or public transport, especially for a sunrise visit. Agra Fort (about 4.5 km, around 56 minutes) and Itmad Ud Daulah (about 4.6 km, around 58 minutes) are far, and you will need transport for both.
Free parking is listed, which helps if you arrive by car.
What guests say
Staff are the main compliment. Guests describe a friendly, professional team that gives attentive and efficient service.
The location also scores well with guests, who value being close to the Taj Mahal and to the expressway.
Room size splits opinion. Some guests call the rooms spacious, while others find them small. If space matters, check the room type and its size before booking.
Price and how it compares with our other picks
Reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 (10 to 12 November, 2 adults, one room) were €118.11 per night, about 8% below the city sample median of €128.84. These are not live quotes. Check today's price for your dates.
Breakfast options listed are wide: Continental, Full English/Irish, Vegetarian, Vegan, Halal, Gluten-free, Kosher, Asian, American, Buffet and Breakfast to go. Whether breakfast is included in your rate is not confirmed.
Our Budget pick, Amar Singh Palace By Signature Stayz NR Taj Mahal, was €17.54 per night with a score of 8.0. Our Best Value pick, The Taj Vista Agra -walking distance to Taj Mahal, scored 9.4 and cost €36.55. Trident Agra is the premium option, and the gap is large. You pay for five-star facilities, not a better guest score.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 15 eligible properties in Agra. Trident Agra tied for third place on review score in that sample.
For our Luxury slot, five-star hotels come first, and a four-star fallback must score at least 8.5. A five-star rating, a 9.2 score and a below-median price made this a strong pick.
