ARVA Spa París is our Budget pick in León. It suits travellers who want to walk everywhere in the old town and keep costs down, and couples on a short city break. Family rooms are listed too.
Skip it if you are booking for the spa. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi exist, but guests often mention problems with them. If you want a higher score and more polish, our other two picks rate better but cost two to three times as much.
Location and getting around
Location is the strong point. The hotel is at Ancha, 18, in the Old Town, and scores 9.6 out of 10 for location. Guests describe it as central, in the pedestrian zone near the cathedral, shops and restaurants.
León Cathedral is 0.2 km away, about 3 minutes on foot. San Isidoro is 0.3 km, about 4 minutes. The Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Castilla y León is 1.4 km away, about 18 minutes. These walking times are straight-line estimates and have not been verified, so expect real routes to be a bit longer. Since the street is pedestrian, check how to arrive by car and where to park before you travel; that is not confirmed in our data.
What guests say
The score is 8.3 out of 10 from 4,636 reviews. Among the 5 eligible hotels we compared, that put it joint fourth, so this is not the best-rated option in the city.
Guests like the location most, and they describe a friendly, professional team that gives helpful service and warm attention.
The spa draws the main complaint. It has a pool, sauna and jacuzzi, but guests say it is often affected by maintenance issues or cold water.
Price and how it compares with our other León picks
We saw €57.00 a night, about 42% below the sample median of €98.10. That is a reference price seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not a live quote, so check today's price for your dates.
Our Best Value pick, NH Collection León Plaza Mayor, was €115.50 a night with a score of 9.1. Our Luxury pick, Parador de Turismo de León, was €164.90 with 9.4. So ARVA Spa París costs about half of the NH Collection and around a third of the Parador. You give up roughly a point of guest score for that saving.
Listed facilities include a spa, pool, restaurant, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Breakfast is listed as continental and buffet; whether it is in your rate is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 5 eligible hotels in León. The Budget slot goes to the lowest eligible reference price after the upscale choice is set aside, and at €57 this hotel was the cheapest.
It also brings a central old town address and thousands of reviews, which made the choice simple despite the lower score.
Before you book
Room size, noise, renovation condition, breakfast inclusion and cancellation terms have not been assessed. In a pedestrian zone, ask about noise if you are a light sleeper.
Ask whether the spa is open and working for your dates and whether it costs extra. Check car access and parking options in advance.
