B&B HOTEL Barcelona Mataro
By the Top3Hotels editorial team. Based on Booking.com guest scores and reviews, location data and reference prices. We did not stay at this hotel. Updated 2026-10-24.
Book it if you want a cheap, practical base in Mataró with friendly staff, a buffet breakfast and easy parking, and you can live with a basic room. Skip it if spotless rooms are non-negotiable, as some guests report insects, stains or dust.

This is our Budget pick for Mataró. It suits drivers, short stays and travellers with pets: guests praise a warm welcome for animals, though the pet rules and fees are not confirmed.
Family rooms, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and a 24-hour front desk are listed. It is a two-star hotel, so expect function over extras.
Skip it if cleanliness worries you. Most guests find rooms tidy, but some mention insects, stained walls or dust.
Location and getting around
The address is Carrer De Tordera 2- Hb004417. Guests say it is close to the beach, supermarkets and the train station, with easy access to parking. The location score is 8.3.
A beach appears in the provider facilities, but that does not confirm a beachfront position or a walking distance. Check a map if beach time is your priority.
Mataró Museum is about 1.7 km away, roughly 21 minutes on foot as a straight-line estimate. Other sights are not in our data.
What guests say
The hotel scores 8.0 out of 10 from 2,462 guest reviews. In our sample that put it joint third of 3 eligible properties for review score, so it is the lowest-rated of our three picks here.
Staff stand out in the feedback. Guests describe them as friendly, helpful and attentive, and say the welcome extends to pets.
The criticism is about cleanliness. The rooms are generally tidy, but some reports of insects, stained walls or dust appear. Room size, noise, renovation state and cancellation terms have not been assessed.
Price and how it compares with our other Mataró picks
The reference price was 76.68 euros per night, about 153 euros for two nights. These are reference prices seen for a 2-night stay in November 2026 for 2 adults, not live quotes. The sample median was 88.46 euros, about 13 percent more.
Our Best Value pick, New Hotel Colon, was 88.46 euros a night with an 8.4 score and 3 stars. Our Luxury pick, Atenea Port Barcelona Mataró, was 93.85 euros with an 8.5 score and 4 stars.
The spread in Mataró is narrow. For about 17 euros more per night you reach the four-star Atenea Port, which scores higher. B&B HOTEL makes sense when every euro counts or when parking and pets are the priority. The buffet breakfast may cost extra, as inclusion is not confirmed.
Why it made our top 3
Only 3 hotels made it into our Mataró sample, so the choice was limited. For the Budget slot we take the lowest eligible reference price, and this hotel had it, backed by 2,462 reviews.
