Travellers with early or late flights, business visitors and anyone using Burbank as a practical base will get the most out of it. The property lists a gym, a restaurant, a terrace, family rooms, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and it carries a pets tag.
Sightseers who want to step out of the door into Hollywood should skip it. The famous sights are more than 8 km away. Drivers should also note that guests report a parking charge.
Location and getting around
The address is 3501 N San Fernando Blvd, with a location score of 8.9. Guests say the airport is within walking distance and the highway and a train station are close.
The Hollywood Sign is about 8.3 km away, roughly 104 minutes on foot. The Dolby Theatre and Grauman's Chinese Theatre are each about 11.5 km, close to two and a half hours walking. All three are far, so you will need public transport, a taxi or a car. These walking times are straight-line estimates.
What guests say
The score is 8.6 out of 10 from 644 reviews. Guests describe the rooms as modern, spotless and fresh-smelling, and they value the short hop to the airport.
The main criticism is cost on top of the room. Guests consider the rates fair, but parking and breakfast are charged extra and that adds up. Room size, noise, renovation condition and cancellation terms were not assessed.
Price and how it compares with our other Burbank picks

Hotel Amarano Burbank-Hollywood, our Luxury pick, scored 9.0 at €313.82. This hotel costs about €19 a night more than the Budget pick for a slightly higher score, and about half the Luxury price.
Why it made our top 3
We compared 10 eligible properties in Burbank. The Best Value slot weighs guest score, number of reviews and price, so it is not simply the cheapest. This one tied for second of ten on review score.
A 4-star hotel with an 8.6 rating priced well under the median earned the slot, with clean rooms and the airport location doing most of the work.
